I didn't know publishers and their PR people created promotional swag for novels, but apparently they do—which means bloggers such as myself have even more opportunities to give stuff away. Sure, it's stuff that you don't need, but the impulse to go after free prizes is America!THE PRIZE: A brand-new red umbrella, kind of like the one on the cover of Garth Stein's Raven Stole the Moon, decorated with a classy, literary logo.
