The Perfect Autumn Eye

The months of the year are slowly moving on and now we are already in Autumn, well we are in England. I have been trying to wear all of my summer clothes whilst i still can but lets face it i have had to move into my jeans again. The other day i decided it was time to swap some of my summer make-up with some more Autumn appropriate make-up and I'm going to tell you a few of these products.

Today i am going to be taking about the eye products I've changed and let's face it get a bit more fun in the winter months. The first product is one that i have had for a while but i have been too scared to use which is the Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Metallic Pomegranate, which is the most beautiful plum colour with gold shimmer in it. I have always been scared to wear shades like this, shades which have a pinky tone because i worry that they make me look like i have an eye infection or i have been beat up and its a bruise. I saw VelvetGh0st's video about Autumn make up the other day and that was my inspiration to try this new look because she used a Make-up Forever eyeshadow which is very similar. When i start doing my eye make-up i start by applying this eye cream and i do it in many coats because it isn't as strong as i would like on its first application so i have to built up the colour and i blend it out using my MAC 217 brush. This eye shadow shade looks amazing on people like me with Hazel/Green eyes because it really draws out the green and makes your eye colour stand out. Then i also use this shade under the eye so the purple fully outlines my eye and makes it look more smoky and more made up.

After this i usually line my eyes because i like that it makes my eye look wider and my lashes fuller. The eyeliner i use is MAC Teddy, which is a lovely coppery bronze brown shade and once again it is very flattering to people with Hazel/Green Eyes. I use it on my eye lid because i have the purple shade below my eye. I do use a little bit on my bottom water line but it doesn't really stand out too much so it isn't a necessary step but i still do it.

Once i have done all of this i curl my lashes and coat my lashes in mascara and i am currently using the No7 Lash Impact mascara. This isn't autumn specific but i just really like it.

With this eye look i use a natural looking lip product such as the L'Oreal Collection Privee lipstick in Cheryl's Nude or the L'Oreal Liquid L'Extraoridnaire Lipstick in 601 Nude Ballet.

I hope this has inspired you to try out a new look for the autumn months and if you have any ideas on another eyeshadow which i might like, let me know in the comments.
