Devine Cosmetics Lip Gloss

Runner by Tennis
I found this company on Instagram or rather it found me. I can't remember if there was some comment exchange or something but, after clicking and finding lip gloss, glittery lipgloss on their page I took a mental note that I would one-day peruse their wares again and so I did. Currently, their lip glosses are all on sale (music to thine ears) and I chose to play it safe and purchase just one of the delightfully divine shades on offer.
Devine Cosmetics is a UK company and black-owned. Evidently from the website, it's an indie brand and the website (big cartel) is pretty basic. There are clear photos of the products on offer but no swatches to see the intensity of the look although there are a few linked Instagram photos. The inner boujee in me did find the sparse website and no ingredients listed slightly concerning but, I decided to withhold my judgement and just try the product.
My order took around a week to arrive. It arrived in a very large first-class letter which given the size of my order (one Brat lip gloss) did make me smile although eco-warriors would potentially combust onsite. I received an invoice detailing my purchase and a pretty lip gloss in a sheer organza bag which is cute and delightful. *Tip* I like those bags because I can reuse them to store jewellery (rings) and other trinkets in.
Brat is described as "a perfect pink-purple blend" and that is exactly what it is. The packaging is a simple squeezy tube which is hygienic and practical. There wasn't any labelling on the product which I guess keeps the cost low but, it would be nice to have something. There is a light scent to the product which is described as "bubblegum" which it is but there's also this creamy coconut sweetness that is so yummy. The formula is said to contain "the finest coconut and olive oil" (on the website) and it smells and feels like it. The consistency of this gloss is thin and just like an oil-based lip gloss, more than a regular gloss formula. In fact, it's very similar in consistency to Dr Organics Royal Jelly Lip Serum. It's light and moisturising on the lip and despite the boldness in the tube and on the website, there's hardly any colour or glitter. It is very subtle and the kind of product you could wear on all occasions and under other lip products.
L-R: 1. Brat on lips with natural light, 2. Brat on lips with torch lighting in natural light, 3. Brat on lips with Maybelline Caramel Infused Lip Gloss with natural lighting.
Each tube is said to contain 15mls of product, be vegan, cruelty-free and suitable for all skin tones. Overall, I really like the product and would try some more shades (Storm - looks to be very popular). Devine Cosmetics ships internationally and the quality is grand and I've already to taken to using it as my go-to lip serum.

... Apart from the lack of ingredients listed - given the nature of the product (light moisturising lip oil), this is a perfect product for teens (I think that's the target market) and those who want some natural but a little fun (few glitters). This is like an oily but slightly creamy lip treatment and compared to other lip glosses that teens usually gravitate towards this is much nicer. I'd recommend it and if I had a teen moping about in my vicinity this would make a nice gift.

Price: £1.60 (on sale - I think its £3 non-sale).

Any Thoughts?
